Parish  Council Meetings

The Parish Council meets formally every other month at Moulsoe Millennium Hall at 8 pm.  Upcoming dates will be posted on this site, village notice boards and in other communications.  Scheduled upcoming dates are:  10 March & 12 May.  All residents are welcome to attend.

    • The next meeting of the Parish Council will be on Tuesday 14 July 8.00pm. This meeting might be held remotely depending on Government guidelines, as permitted by the Local Authorities (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020 No.392.
    • If you have any questions for the Parish Council please email them to  parish.clerk@moulsoeparishcouncil. by 4pm on 13 July
    • Should the meeting be held remotely residents are asked to  please email the Clerk and a meeting invitation will be sent via email on Tuesday 14 July along with any relevant meeting papers.
    • The last meeting of the Parish Council took place remotely on Tuesday 12 May 2020

Annual Meeting of the Council
The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council takes place in May each year.  In addition to the usual business, the chair and deputy chair for the coming year are elected and the annual accounts are approved and signed-off for auditing.

    The Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of
    Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales)
    Regulations 2020 (“the 2020 Regulations”) came in to force on 4 April.  Under Regulation 6 states it that there is no requirement for a parish council to hold its annual meeting although a council may do so if they so choose. Moulsoe Parish Council will not be holding its Annual meeting this year, the meeting taking place on Tuesday 12 May 2020 will be a normal council meeting.

Annual Parish Meeting
The Annual Parish Meeting is not a council meeting, it is an obligatory meeting that takes place between 1 March and 1 June each year where residents are invited to attend, speak and vote on any matter of relevance to the parish.  The Parish Council chair calls each meeting and, for logistical reasons, the meeting tends to be called on the same date as the Annual Meeting of the Council.  During this meeting, the chair notes local activities and achievements, opens the floor to residents and facilitates discussion of local issues (and voting, where relevant).

Play Area
Moulsoe Play Area Improvement Project 2017
Moulsoe Parish Council has secured funding to refresh the play area and equipment near Moulsoe Millennium Hall.
